When a vibrations problem is sufficiently serious to stop production, time is often equal to heavy economic losses
In such a situation, it is important to use the available human and technical ressources on site in a combined and efficient effort to solve the problem as quickly as possible. Colding has extensive experience from such ad-hoc team work, involving both the machine user and supplier companies, as well as consultants from different fields and different companies.
An example of such a case is shown in this presentation which was first made public at a conference organized by Norsk Forening for Termiske Strømningsmaskiner (Norwegian Association for Thermal Flow Machinery) in 2002, read more here: NFTS2002.
